We Believe in Neighbors
Suburban Record is America's neighborhood paper — a celebration of suburban family life, strong communities, safe streets, great schools, and the traditional values that make our neighborhoods the best places in the world to raise a family.
Our Promise to You
Suburban Record is independently owned and operated. We write for the families who coach Little League, volunteer at church, show up to school board meetings, and take pride in their yards and their neighborhoods. No corporate agenda, no paywalls — just honest, family-friendly content for the people who make suburban America great.
Our Story
We started Suburban Record because we believe suburban families deserve a publication that reflects their values and speaks to their daily lives. More than half of all Americans live in the suburbs, and for good reason. Suburban neighborhoods offer safe streets, excellent schools, room to grow, and tight-knit communities where neighbors still look out for each other.
From tips on keeping kids safe online to the best weekend DIY projects, from youth sports highlights to small business spotlights, we cover the stories that matter most on your street and in your neighborhood.
We launched in 2026 because that way of life deserves to be celebrated — not just by us, but by the families who live it every single day.
What We Stand For
Family First
Everything we do starts with the question: does this serve families? Strong families are the foundation of every great neighborhood.
Faith & Purpose
We believe in something bigger than ourselves. The churches, temples, and community organizations that bring neighbors together give suburban life its soul.
Community Over Everything
Neighbors helping neighbors. Block parties. Casseroles on the doorstep. We celebrate the small acts of kindness that make suburban America extraordinary.
Hard Work & Pride
Mowing the lawn, coaching Little League, volunteering at the school — we honor the people who show up and put in the work every day.
